Who I work with

Every child, every family and every athlete comes with their own story.

Hello, I’m Berfin Koç. I studied psychology at Yeditepe University and completed my master’s in clinical psychology at Üsküdar University, followed by a second master’s in Exercise and Sport Performance at Başkent University.

In sessions I care about creating a safe, non-judgemental and curious space. With children I put play at the centre, with parents the bond, and with athletes the power of the mind in performance.

How I work

01

Attachment-focused

I don’t see a child’s development apart from their bond with their family. When it helps, parents become an active part of the process.

02

Play and experience

Children express themselves best through play, athletes on the field. I adapt my methods to age and need.

03

Evidence-based

I use approaches supported by research and we review progress against our goals together.
