Hello, I’m Berfin Koç.

I studied psychology at Yeditepe University and completed my master’s in clinical psychology at Üsküdar University. My interest in the mental side of sport led me to a second master’s in Exercise and Sport Performance at Başkent University.

What I do

I work individually with children and teenagers and offer counselling to parents. I am a certified Attached at the Heart parent educator. As a team psychologist I work with athletes on the field, and I support children’s development in preschools and play groups.

My approach

To understand a child you have to enter their world — play. To understand an athlete you have to see the pressure and the passion on the field. In sessions I care about creating a safe, non-judgemental and curious space, and about making families and teams part of the process.
